Bengaluru: Indian javelin superstar Neeraj Chopra added another golden feather to his cap by winning the gold medal at the first-ever Neeraj Chopra Classic – India’s debut World Athletics Continental Tour Gold level event – held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
Cheered on by over 14,500 spectators, Chopra delivered a powerful throw of 86.18 meters in his third attempt, securing the top podium position ahead of international stars from Kenya and Sri Lanka.
