Ladki Bahin Yojana: June Installment to Be Credited Soon, Women to Get Interest-Free Loan up to ₹40,000

Mumbai, June 25, 2025 — Under Maharashtra’s flagship Ladki Bahin Yojana, the 12th monthly installment of ₹1,500 will soon be deposited into the bank accounts of eligible women. According to sources, the funds are expected to be transferred between June 25 and June 30.

In a significant move, the state government has also announced that eligible women can now apply for an interest-free loan of up to ₹40,000 to start small businesses. The loan will be repaid using the ₹1,500 monthly stipend, ensuring no extra financial burden on the beneficiary.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra
  • Age should be between 21 and 65 years
  • Annual household income must be below ₹2.5 lakh
  • No government employee or four-wheeler vehicle should exist in the household
  • The beneficiary must not be availing benefits from other government schemes

📅 When Will the June Installment Arrive?

The installment of ₹1,500 is expected to be credited between June 25 and June 30, 2025. Beneficiaries must ensure that their bank account is active and KYC is updated to receive the funds without delay.

🔍 Income Tax Data to Weed Out Ineligible Beneficiaries

The government has started using Income Tax Return (ITR) data to identify and remove ineligible applicants. Thousands of fake or unqualified beneficiaries have already been removed, confirmed Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.
