The Department of Posts, Government of India, has officially released the 4th Merit List for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2025. Selection Based on Class 10 Marks
India Post follows a merit-based selection process for GDS posts. No written examination is conducted. Instead, the merit list is prepared based on candidates’ Class 10 marks, with additional considerations such as age and reservation category.
This 4th list includes names of candidates who have been provisionally selected for various circles and divisions across India. The list has been released circle-wise in PDF format for easy access.
How to Check the 4th Merit List:
1. Visit indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
2. Click on “Candidate’s Corner”.
3. Choose “Supplementary List-IV” for your postal circle.
4. Download the PDF and search for your name or registration number.
Document Verification to Follow
Shortlisted candidates from the 4th merit list will now be called for Document Verification (DV) by the concerned postal divisions. It is crucial for selected candidates to carry all original documents, including:
Class 10 mark sheet
Proof of age and identity (Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.)
Caste or community certificate (if applicable)
Disability certificate (for PwD category)
Recent passport-size photographs
Candidates are advised to regularly check their emails and SMS for communication from their respective postal circles regarding the DV schedule.
